Iran’s government is historically weak. It’s allies and proxies have been routed in the region while American and Israeli jets bomb their country with impunity. The place is vulnerable to revolution and it would be nice to see feminists overthrow the Ayatollah.
However, it’s hard to get optimistic about revolution in the Middle East. After all, it was a revolution that created the Iranian theocracy to begin with. I’m also worried that a fallen Iran would mean an Israeli regional hegimon.

You’re talking about several different technologies when you say “fireworks”. You need a powder that’s safe to handle, a barrel that’s strong enough to contain the explosion, an ignition system, and a projectile that does some kind of damage.

They’re a protected class because they’re singled out for violence because of their class. And it’s a real world problem not a logic quiz. Misogyny and misandry are not equivalent in reality the way they are in the dictionary.

How exactly would it boost moderates except in that once the extremes are eliminated, your vote goes to the moderate that you want rather than it failing to oppose the people you don’t want.
I think you’ve pretty much got it. Extreme candidates tend to get eliminated because they tend to be the least popular with other parties voters. RCV punishes this unpopularity. Also candidates with similar goals can work together, this advantage is obviously is going to be unavailable for people running from the fringe.
Just imagine a New York primary where two weak moderates were running against a progressive. The two moderates are almost working together because it’s likely that whoever looses will gift their votes to the other. Ranked choice candidates have often “teamed up”, with ads asking their supporters to rank the other candidate 2nd.
I think lots of Democrats have been thinking about how the primary in New York could have been different and this is the answer to that question.

Ranked choice voting tends to boost moderate candidates. While this is valuable in a general election, during a party primary it protects the status quo.
It’s hard for me to look at this as anything other than Schumer and Jefferies putting obstacles in the way of Progressives.

Internet prank… “never let you down”…hmmm, can’t think of anything.

It’s a bullshit question

So, if the AI bubble pops, it’ll be a great time to build a PC

Apple has invested heavily in infrastructure that will make every iPhone and app on the store transparent to an AI running on bespoke silicone designed for the task. Much like Windows, Apple foresees a future where AI is a substitute for the GUI.

Any platform that’s advertising based is a propaganda outlet. Reddit’s function is to manipulate pubic opinion.

Usually, when the FBI arrests “terrorists”, you find out that the FBI was the mastermind of the plot; provided materials and weapons; and the people arrested were recruited by the FBI. This pattern holds true with the militia types and the jihads.
Not that violent idiots don’t belong in jail, but it’s just funny that the FBI has planned more attacks on US soil than any other terrorist org. And it’s depressing because any smart and capable terrorist would never come within a mile of the FBI’s amateur hour entrapment.

Just for some context: the prohibition of using the Military in the States dates back to reconstruction. Slaveholding States didn’t like the Yankee Army protecting Civil rights.
I’m not defending Trump, but the idea that using troops as law enforcement is “Un-American” or tyrannical is Confederate propaganda.

Just want to add my own conspiracy theory: Junior is not reacting to the lack of evidence, but push-back from the antivaxers.

Nvidia is worth more than the pharmaceutical industry. Tesla is worth more than all other car manufacturers combined.

The second Bernie became popular, a backlash like this was inevitable.
A material analysis of Bernie Sanders would rule out a backlash because he’s never held power or set policy.
But even if you rate effectiveness by how much they aggravate the right, politicians like Pelosi prove that being effective is more threatening than being left. Politicians like Obama prove that being black is more threatening than being radical.
I think you’ll find Bernie Sanders rates far higher in MAGA circles than Pelosi or Obama. Because he doesn’t represent any threat to them. (check out his defense of Trump’s immigration policy)
Do digital store fronts play-through all the games, expansions, and DLC they list on their stores? This doesn’t seem practical.
