I set it up years ago when I still had Ubuntu desktop running on an old laptop. Just kept using it even after using and learning kubernetes at work on an enterprise scale. Also the automatic image checks, easy to check metrics, logs, and endpoints. I have 33 containers right now, it’s just simple to see them all in one screen.

I use 100% kubernetes at work and help other teams get their app working but at home I don’t run anything that supports it.

It was working on Linux during the last play test. The rumer is they added a new anti-cheat and it by default doesn’t support Linux.

That’s not a competitor if you have to self host. I self host it to move away from Google but I would not call it a competitor.

Most desktops are windows but most of the work is done in gitlab/vscode or Linux bastions and then run on kubernetes. Another team is working on a corporate Ubuntu image and some are testing it so I’m hopeful for others to move off of windows.

Well if they beta this weekend rolls around and it doesn’t work I’ll refund and wait for the official it is supported to buy it. People were playing it on Linux before though so I’m hoping it still works.
