Isn’t there more to it than that though? The “morons” are convinced by a multi-trillion dollar propaganda machine.
I don’t think anyone is immune to propaganda.
Now, this isn’t to say that I know how to counter this, but the scope of the issue is vast.
Here’s a slightly more readable version: https://people.wku.edu/aaron.hughey/pdf/WhoWeReallyAre.pdf
I’m anxious for what happens next. If this spirals, we’re about to start living in some “interesting times”.
I disagree. I think it just hit it. Think about how shooters crave noteriaty. Think of how this assain is seen as a hero. No. This is just the beginning.
I think too many people saw this as a kind of justice that the courts have never and will never provide.
I don’t advocate violence. I also don’t think this has a different outcome.
I’ll quote something that I heard from someone earlier today. “I don’t advocate violence, but I also can’t pretend that justice was not served.”
Funny I always thought he was juicing like they do in professional wrestling, they cut themselves just a little bit to make it look like they’re injured.
This just in… Water is wet!
Definitely a possibility.
I keep thinking about how musk was talking about the upcoming hardship… I wonder if he was maybe referring to this too. He had to have known.
I agree in principal, but my concern with this is that people will see it happening to them, done by trump and will believe trump when they’re told that they’re suffering because of “the illegals” or the “woke mind virus” or whatever doublethink bullshit trump’s advisors come up with.
Only until they’re born. After that, they’re 100% pro death. Execution penalty all the way.
I haven’t given it any though till this moment, but the fact that he
To me implies a certain level of Russian collaboration. Purely speculative, granted, but I bet he’s not about to go speaking up for Ukraine or anything.
He sought and received protection from an adversary and I can’t believe that Putin didn’t put a price on that, and feel confident that he had the “currency” to pay.
I believe what he did, he did with good intentions, but after that I think he had to start making some practical decisions in order to save his and his families’ lives.
Would I make those same decisions? Let’s just say, I probably wouldn’t have the courage to blow the whistle in the first place, so it’s kinda a moot point.
Suffice it to say, he paid for his ability to stay in Russia. Who’s to say the cost to US security?
I think that they’re just railing against the smoke show that would have us believe that our individual actions are more to blame than industry as a whole. You can recycle, you can drive a electric car, you can even generate your electricity and store it locally in a battery and not even use the grid but even if we all did that without change to heavy industry we are still screwed.
One small example of this is how big tobacco and big oil have used exactly the same tactics to distract us from what’s really going on and protect their profits regardless of the harm to us as a species.

Maybe he thought resistance would mean death or torture for him and his loved ones. He’s already seen one son die, I doubt he’d want to see another one laid to rest.
Better, or bitter? ¿Porque no los dos?
I wouldn’t be surprised at all either and I have my own suspicions but we live in a post-truth world so it’s really hard to know what to believe, hence the post.
Oh, well that’s a given! https://archive.is/20241107210221/https://wagingnonviolence.org/2024/11/10-things-to-do-if-trump-wins
