In moments like these, don’t think, just do. Think about what you want to do and then stop thinking altogether and start going to do what you want to do just repeating “don’t think just do” to yourself the whole time you are walking to do what it is. Don’t think about anything while you are walking to do said thing. If your brain says stop, do not listen to that shit. You already did all the thinking before you started walking. Don’t start thinking again until you have already started doing said thing. This shit works for me at least

I replied to the wrong thing. You may be right. CO2 may be playing a big part, but I just don’t think it’s the whole story. There is something else that is rocking the boat so to speak. CO2 just isn’t enough and there is legit data that contradicts the narrative of a pure CO2 driven change.

I mean you have me up to the point where you say the oceans can’t function as a perpetual heat sink for our maleficence. The oceans should be able to continue absorbing the excess heat. The amount of water is staggering. Over time the heat would be dissipated and the oceanic temperature would increase but not enough to make any sort of difference. There’s just too much water. It completely overwhelms any effect CO2 could have either directly or indirectly.

I’m not denying the climate is changing. I’m just saying CO2 is not the culprit. It may very well be because of something we are doing, but it is not CO2 doing it. It makes absolutely no sense man. It’s such a small component, and its effects are negligible compared to water vapor. It would be the tail wagging the dog.

Now a more convincing argument would be the direct release of heat from combustion that is constantly occurring or the local effects from urbanization. Maybe we are causing more water vapor? Idk because no one is even looking at this stuff. I just know that the CO2 we release is not doing it. Not a chance.

Yea ikr? I get the whole statistical aspect of it as useful information from the crowd wisdom or whatever, but actually betting on it is full on gambling. Like it’s a gamblers wet dream!

That’s gonna be a hard sell to a lot of people. I’m moderate and I wouldn’t vote for either one of these dudes. They need to pick someone sane? Or is the insanity the selling point, and I’m just out of touch?
