abolish the TSA, give them public works jobs digging ditches like in the old days
I’ve been robbed by the TSA once. Never has anything like that ever happened to me, but on my flight back home to Germany from Tampa via Atlanta those assholes stole some very rare personalized 24oz beer cans that I got as a gift from the managing director of Emsula in Honduras. 2 of the 3 cans went missing. It may not seem like much of a loss but it actually meant something to me. I was fucking pissed. Flying in the USA is a fucking chore too. Shitty quality airports (I’ve seen nicer airports in the Republic Congo), shitty service on planes, bullshit security measures that you can buy your way out of, dumbass TSA officers thinking they’re above the police. It’s honestly a shit show over there.
I have to travel a lot for my job. Every. Single. Time. I’ve had the misfortune of needing to go to the States, my luggage has been stolen from in transit. Cash (learned that lesson), electronics, once it was dirty underwear?! Going to Russia? Fine. Laos? Grand. Cambodia? No bother. America? Nah mate, this is a communist country apparently, your property is our property! Gimmie gimmie gimmie!
Fuck the TSA, and fuck the complacency of the lazy ass populace who allow this corruption to run rampant, while still praising how great their freedumbs are.
Lol damn you have the shittiest luck ever. I hate the TSA like everyone else; the TSA pre check is extortion that I refuse to purchase on principle. The TSA in general are just security theater. Like what have they ever prevented? All that being said, I fly around 2 times a year on average in America and have never had anything stolen from the TSA. It may be worth noting I always carry on and never check my bags in because I’ve heard too many horror stories of luggage being lost / arriving late.
Not sure if it was security, but one can of soda/alcohol went missing from each of our luggage traveling back from Hawaii. I assumed it was for drug tests, but we got our stuff back broken into with the zippers bent open to circumvent the locks, along with scratch marks on the locks. TSA should have had a key for the universal unlock. But they only took a single can, one out of 5 for me. Only happened traveling through the US with checked in baggage, that got lost on the way.
I Was just amazed by their stupidity - I got “TSA Approved “ locks for my suitcase because securing it somewhat seemed like a good idea. Despite them having a key and despite the lock only being on only one zipper pull (ie. Not locked) TSA cut them off and left a prissy note in my suitcase
